Centrifugar's technology for centrifugation of oil emulsions with oil recovery has been widely used since 2005 with the manufacture of the first national centrifuge by Centrifugar with continuous solids extraction.

This allows the machine to work continuously with high productivity, in some cases reaching 12 m3/h of waste input, with up to 6M3/hour of recovered oil.

Centrifugar is the only manufacturer of this machine in Brazil.

Centrifugar has extensive experience in centrifuging blast furnace sludge, with more than two years providing service to Arcelor mittal, 24 hours a day, 30 days a month. The blast furnace sludge has characteristics of high density, high corrosion and high abrasion. 

This makes it necessary to employ high-torque centrifuges prepared for extreme corrosion and abrasion. 

Centrifugar, which manufactures its own equipment, has the technology to customize its machines to obtain high performance in this type of operation.

The oil drilling fluid, more commonly called drilling mud, is one of centrifugar's success cases. We have developed our own technology that has the capacity to separate the mud into three phases, with oil specification, making it commercial, with high added value.

The water that comes out of the process has a maximum TOG of 1%, easily treated in conventional WWTP, and the thickened solid (cake), which has the characteristic of piling, is easily transported to the appropriate industrial landfill.

Centrifuges Decanter of Centrifugar have high performance in the centrifugation of sludge due to its robust construction and high torque reducer of cycloidal type, making that even with high concentrations of dry solids in the sludge, the flow rate is maintained.
